Redbreast was originally a brand name for Jameson's Pure Irish Pot Still Whiskey, bottled in bond by Gilbeys. First produced in 1939, it involved Jameson filling Gilbey's own casks, using two sherry casks for every bourbon cask. Although the brand was discontinued following the closure of the original Jameson distillery, it has since been relaunched and is now a favourite among Irish whiskey enthusiasts and connoisseurs worldwide.
This 100% heavy pot still Irish whiskey features a high sherry ageing percentage, delivering a rich and complex flavor profile that sets it apart in the realm of premium Irish whiskeys. Redbreast continues to embody the essence of authentic Irish whiskey, making it a standout choice for collectors and lovers of single pot still whiskey.
